Upon learning all three sets of sight words, students will be encouraged to
participate in Accelerated Reader. AR is a fun way to earn points by
reading books and taking a comprehension test. Once we begin AR (around
January), I will design a bulletin board for each month so that students
may display their success with AR. As part of their homework, your child
will be asked to read for at least 15 minutes each night. This is a great time
for your child to read their AR book from the library.
